You should send the document by post/courier by writing your name and surname in the sender field on the envelope and Demir Health and Life Insurance Compensation Department in the recipient field.
It must be in Turkish, English or German. Otherwise, a sworn translation of the document is requested.
The departure from the country starts as soon as it is detected with the passport and ends as soon as it is detected that the borders of our country are entered, but for visa procedures, we recommend that you choose the policy start and end dates one day before and one day after the travel date.
There is no direct payment to foreign health institutions or organisations. It is sufficient to make the payment and submit your documents.
If your policy includes Epidemic Diseases Coverage, we cover the treatment process of the insured in case of an Epidemic Disease diagnosis (test positive) after entering the customs of the country you are travelling to.
The Epidemic Diseases Coverage provides coverage for Medical Treatment Expenses, Medical Transport and Repatriation of the Corpse due to infection.
